Today my boyfriend and I began looking for apartments because we are finally moving in together. I personally can’t wait. We practically live together now, except without any of the benefits associated with it. Case in point; I have been living out of an overnight/gym bag for a good 10-11 months now. We stay at each other’s places every other night so I always have to pack a bag for overnight and the next day, and let me tell you it is one giant pain in my ass to have to think about every piece of clothing I’ll need for the next 24-36 hours. Uniforms, gym clothes, casual wear, the works. For those of you who know me, you know full well the costume changes that I go through on any given day, and to have to plot that all out in advance… total nightmare. But now, his lease is up at the end of June and we are looking for a new place. We’re thinking of getting a 2 bedroom 2 bath townhouse with a finished basement. It’s very exciting, but even more exciting is that within 2 years he wants to buy a house. Like, we’re adults undergoing adult endeavours. This is for realsies now.
who would have ever imagined that buying houses was something we would ever be mature enough to even consider without giving our parents heart attacks? although I must say-buying a house is more in our 4 year plan, but congrats! It IS exciting.
