I, like far too many of you, care entirely too much about how many people click on my little blog and want to read about my absurd life. Naturally I get excited when, say, I have an all time high number of hits in a day. This actually brings me a very oddly placed sense of happiness and accomplishment. I’m lame. But I also enjoy keeping track of what the most commonly read posts of mine are, and since I wrote it in the first week of APRIL up until yesterday, my post “I burnt my vag” was number one. This is particularly sad because A. It’s a ridiculous post about me being a clumsy ass and scalding my precious lady parts with boiling hot coffee. B. It’s the shortest thing I’ve ever written on here. And C. I put no real effort or creativity into this post, there are so many others that I’m really proud of, but this is the most read, this is apparently what people think accurately describes me as a writer- someone who tells the whole world about her vagina.
Finally, as of last night “I burnt my vag” was put into the number two spot, taking its place, just barely, is “About Ginger”. So there are literally only four people in this entire world who care more about me; my hopes, my dreams, my personality, than there are people who care only about my vagina.
Actually, in writing this, that sounds about right.
You have hit the nail right on the head. Who knows why people like the things they do? This post is funny because it’s so truthfull. I agree with you and I can honestly relate. On my art blog, it seems the art I paint in fun and mostly done in minutes, more people look at and enjoy than the art that I sweated over for hours.

I am sorry if I am offending: people are actually interested in ‘vagina’ things, but they preach and pretend ‘divine’ things. That’s the biggest misery and hypocrisy of this world. Reality is ‘fucked’. Pseudo sermon and holy things are projected.
First of all, I will always care more about you, your hopes, dreams and cats more than your vag. I’m a good friend.
Secondly, almost half the people that have come to my blog do so because of “sexy bridesmaids,” “the world’s largest nipples” (no idea where that is coming from!)” and “boob exposure.” So. We’re in this together.
